Because we have to! If you are reading this, no doubt you are an awesome and amazing human being. However, we all know we share space with people who are – well – not.
For that reason, we share these legal disclaimers, privacy policies, terms of use and terms of service for our own protection. So…have fun reading this very boring and dry (but necessary) information. Who Are We?
This website is an expansion of what has been a local business. We have many years of hands-on experience caring for animals in need, including rescues that need rehabilitation, helping other small businesses test their pet-friendly products to ensure safety, pet treat/food receipe testing and a lot more pet-related work. We are also avid researchers and have years of published work educating about best care practices for pet ownership. With this new site, we have a fresh new look and are adding more services and affilates.
Our company supports and promotes best care practices for pet ownership and compassionate treatment of all animals and pets. A lot of our information is presented in a fun and/or entertaining way. Of course, we must say that content is strictly for entertainment purposes. We say (very lightheartedly) that many of our staff members have fur and paws. The animals help with writing and editing and research (grin).
We have found that there is much discrepency, disagreement and debates in the big world of pet care and handling. In fact, the mindset of “I’m right and if you don’t agree with me, you are wrong” rages on and on and on. We’re not about it. We don’t care to engage in, nor entertain, all that division and hate and bad energy. We are very serious about properly caring for animals/pets and have much hands-on experience doing what we do. However, we keep things lighthearted and stay in what we refer to as the happy zone. The way we choose to write, research and publish information helps us avoid the hate and the haters and that works for us. As it turns out, countless people today find our way of doing things a nice break from the crazy of today’s world. Those are our people.
We support rescue organizations and affiliate with local, small business who are committed to proper care and handling of pets and animals. We also support small business that are committed to natural products using organic, locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible – including handmade pet treats which do not contain meat. Because of local and federal law restrictions on small home businesses, none of our pet treats contain meat of any kind.
